My wife and I just bought our first home and called Mr. D’s (on a recommendation from our realtor) to bid on giving our 1960’s home a much-needed rejuvenation. From the moment we met Don (on a Saturday mind you) we felt our home was in good hands, and in just two short weeks Mr. D’s crew had transformed our “house with potential” into a beautiful home. Working with Mr. D’s was a completely positive and unique experience and definitely exceeded our expectations. Don was super helpful and accommodating in putting together a plan, even going so far as showing us the work he’d done in his own home to give us ideas and options. The quote was provided menu style so we could easily pick which items we wanted to do. Don’s crew was prompt, professional, friendly and helpful and performed absolutely beautiful work in an amazingly brief period of time. They were routinely ahead of schedule and really went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied in every way. We hired Mr D’s primarily for refinishing plaster ceilings, interior painting (which included removing old wallpaper and fixing cracks), and updating interior lighting, but when we decided mid-job that we wanted to do a major whole-house electrical upgrade, Don and crew seamlessly adapted. Finally, one of our favorite features of the remodel, the crown molding, was free due to a promotional offer. Overall a great service from start to finish at a very reasonable price.
