Mr. D, otherwise known as Don Martin, was born and raised in San Diego, CA. Pursuing and capitalizing on his handy nature, Don was drawn to the construction field which eventually evolved into starting his own painting company. Mr. D's Painting Service was founded in 1985 and specialized in residential house and commercial painting. Through the years, Don upgraded his CA painting contractors license to a general contractor and consequently increased his business services to include acoustic (popcorn) ceiling removal, installing crown moulding, trim and baseboards, lighting, doors, flooring, and many other general home improvement services.
Don strives to be the best in his trade and infuses honesty and an unwavering commitment to his customers. Mr. D's employs top-notch painters at the height of their profession, which clearly demonstrates that the company's professional painting skills are the very best. In every aspect of the house painting and home improvement business Don strives to strengthen his customer's faith and trust in his services. *NOTE: Our painting company was been certified by the Painting and Decorating Contractors Association of America only after demonstrating that we meet exacting standards in the management of our safety precautions, financial matters, and overall business operations. The final requirement in securing our certification was a comprehensive two-hour examination covering in-depth questions concerning accounting, business practices, and skills in the painting trade and safety.
